As a senior planner, Mick planned and monitored almost 30 different buildings on the military estate on Salisbury Plain and Aldershot Garrison as part of Project Allenby Connaught for the MOD, managed by Aspire Defence and delivered by ISG Construction. Individual works packages included the £7.2m major refurbishment of the prestige Royal Artillery Officers Mess at Larkhill and new build facilities such as the Medical & Dental Centre at Bulford and the Physical & Recreational Training Facility also at Bulford which as well as housing a fully equipped sports hall and fitness suite also included a swimming pool and retail space.
